Glass Guess… Week of March 15

Because I’m obsessed with orange and white this week… AND because I had a request for earrings being the prize again, this week’s prize is a pair of orange and white splat earrings. I have a million things to do today so let’s get on with it! 😉

You know the routine… pick a number between 1 ~ 200. One guess per person until Friday at noon EST. If no one has it at that point you can take as many guesses as you like! And I’m going to try to think of a number that no one has an edge on this time… 🙂

Good luck, have fun and see you on Friday at noon!

Week of March 8 Glass Guess

I’m back from Kentucky and ready for another contest… how about you? This week’s prize is a pair of my new earring style. I am so excited about these because they’re so versatile. Once you have your first pair you can purchase extra bead sets to switch the look around. You can wear both beads or one…  And they are incredibly comfy!  This set has black and white discs with little etched turquoise and lime dotted beads as accents. Very fun! Can you tell I’m excited? I hope you will be too!

I’m thinking of a number between 1 ~ 200. Remember, only one guess per person until this Friday at noon. If no one has it then, I’ll start giving clues and you can make as many guesses as you wish until someone gets it.

Have fun and thanks for playing!

Glass Guess for the week of Feb. 21st

Ready to play another round of Glass Guess? I need to remind my former winners that you’re welcome to play along but if you’ve won in the last 2 months, please let someone else get a chance, eh?

It’s another Olympic inspired prize this week. I just can’t stop! This time it’s a pendant… So I’m thinking of another number between 1 – 200. One guess per person until Thursday at noon. If no one has guessed it by that point, you may take as many guesses as you wish!

Have fun… see you Thursday!

Glass Guess, Feb. 16… Formerly know as Must Have Monday

Time for this week’s contest. And the prize is the first of my Olympics inspired color combo’s. I am loving the blues and greens I see on signs at the Olympic venues. So you’re playing for a Splat in the color’s I’m loving!

And since I seem to get the most participation when I have you guess a number… this week I’m thinking of a number between 1 ~ 150. One guess per person until Thursday afternoon. You know the drill, if no one has guessed it by then, feel free to guess until you get it!  Have fun and see you Thursday…

Another Must Have Monday… errr, Tuesday!

Perhaps I need to come up with a new name for our contest! And perhaps that will be your task this week. 😉 This week’s prize is one of my favorite pendants; black and white with bumps all over…

So what shall we call this weekly contest? Must Have Monday works when I have time to get it ready on Monday but doesn’t make much sense on Tuesday. So throw out some suggestions and the one that I choose will win the pendant! 🙂

I’ll be back tomorrow afternoon to see what my choices are… be creative. I know you can!

More Than One Way to Run a Giveaway!

So… maybe I’m not done blogging yet. Due to some new rules on Facebook, I’ll be coming back here once a week to host my Must Have Mondays!

November 23, 2009 Must Have Monday Prize

This week we’re playing for a pendant in some of my favorite autumn colors.  And I still have no brilliant ideas for contests. Sooooooooo… give me some ideas. I’ll put all your names in a bowl and draw out the winner tomorrow at 11 am est. Come on folks! Let the ideas flow… 😉

Back from the ISGB Gathering! Part 1

ISGB All Member Show, Under the Sea

Whew! I’m back from another fun filled, information packed Gathering. This was my first time attending as a member of the board so it was a little different than past years. I flew in a couple days early to attend meetings so I was actually gone for an entire week but time still flew by!

Under the Sea

One of my duties this year was the All Member Show, Under the Sea. For the first time we donated the final piece as a way to leave a part of the ISGB behind in the city that hosted us. We chose the Miami Childrens Hospital as our first recipient. I had two helpers that were invaluable in putting it together, Annemarie Herrlich and Sam Hibler. I am so proud of how it turned out. All the work we put into it was worthwhile. I can’t wait to hear how the kids like it! (That’s my little Puffer fish next to the arrow)

More Gathering stories coming soon!
